Cocoon is a hydrolyzed silk treatment designed for the ICMAD 2017 competition. The packaging was designed with traditional Japanese skincare and the natural simplicity of silk as a core component of the visual design.
The outer sleeve is sleek, white and matte, with minimal elements in a spot-gloss finish - keeping the color scheme neutral and flesh-toned emphasizes both the skincare aspect and higher-end quality of the product. The packaging, a sleek but rustic wooden box, houses a traditional kimono silk pillow holding the product. The bottle features strands of silk, along with a similarly soft presentation.
